The struggle of finding a uniform that suits all staff

Recently we had a soft rebrand on one of the companies in our group. The process was long as we struggled to work out the best way to create a uniform that suited all the different job roles we had to cover. Office staff, production, off-site photographers and event staff.

The conclusion we came to after weeks of going around in circles between differing opinions within the staff was that each area was different, so let’s approach them with a different attitude.

The office and event staff ended up with some very smart ‘tops’ KK770 that were neither shirts (that they didn’t want) or polos that we didn’t want. With some black trousers and a smart fleece, they are now fully branded, very smart and represent the image that we require for the company.

With the potential of a higher wear rate of the production staff we opted for t-shirts and hoodies. The photographers who are our everyday customer facing staff are in smart shirts to really enforce the professionalism that we wish every customer contact to feel as they meet us. So what we have ended up with is a uniform that uses different garments based on the demands of the job role, but all enforcing the company attitude to professionalism

This made us realise the complicated process that all companies have to go through when deciding on the things that will suit your company best. In a nutshell, we understand and we’re here to help!
